About us:
The Gay Sportbike Riders (GSR) group is an offshoot of the Yahoo GaySportbikeRiders Message Group. In 2002, members of the group from San Francisco and Los Angeles areas got together and organized the first GSR ride in San Luis Obispo, California. Since then, we have organized an annual ride at various scenic locations in ridable distance from these areas.
While originally centered around the California Central Coast area, in the past 9 years we began to explore different locations. This accommodated more riders and provided a better mix of riding routes.
Our events are based on a simple concept: low pressure, drama free fun. We pick a suggested location and agenda. You are free to participate as you see fit. You may decide to do all of the rides or none. We will suggest other events during the event that you are free to attend as you see fit.
We are the coordinators, not then leaders. There are no financial or attendance expectations from us. We do not make any reservations for you. You are responsible for all reservations, deposits and fees.
Lastly, we only have a few expectations:
